We are thrilled to announce the theme for the Spring Crafter’s Retreat: Shine Bright! Esther and I picked the theme for this retreat last fall. It spoke to both of us immediately and we knew we had to run with it. Sometimes the world can seem like a dark place, but we all have a light that shines and we can choose to be a light-bringer to those dark places. Despite the busyness of our lives, we still manage to make time for our families and friends. We take a meal to a sick neighbor, help our children with their homework, and go to lunch with a friend. We smile at a stranger in the grocery store and encourage a despondent

We live in a crazy, busy world. Each day is filled from morning to night with activities. We live each day going from one activity to the next. Sometimes we are able to step back for a minute and reflect on our lives. In a recent reflection the thought came to my tired, worn out mind……life is beautiful. Even though life can be draining and exhausting, there are moments that are amazing and beautiful. Our theme for this fall retreat is “Life is Beautiful. Enjoy the Ride.” I have always been so amazed that even in our most trying, pain-filled times that if we look… if we search, we can find beauty. It is all around us. I think back

We are so excited to have Geri teach a beading class at our Fall Retreat! She makes phenomenal jewelry and is extremely talented! Here are a few fun tidbits about her. Hi, My name is Geri Allred and I worked closely with Heather Clark at PGi. She got me started with scrapbooking and introduced me to her wonderful sister and mom. We laughed so hard every retreat that my stomach would get sore. I am grateful to continue to be a part of the fun Idaho group of talented ladies! I started making jewelry about 10 years ago with my Aunt Kay. We get together weekly to hand stitch jewelry together, talk about designs, and practice Tai Chi. As you can see
There are many amazing aspects of Ruby Bucket Retreat. Walking into a beautifully decorated retreat is so fun and exciting. Receiving a lovely welcome gift and eating delicious treats is delightful. Shopping in the Ruby Bucket Boutique and finding just the perfect gift to buy is thrilling. All of these things are so fun, amazing and unique. But the most amazing part of our last retreat, for me, was our raffle. We had one of our sweet ladies contact us about donating a quilt and holding a raffle in honor of our dear friend, Heather. Let me tell you about our dear Heather. First, Heather Clark is the sister of my Ruby Bucket co-host, Stephanie. Heather and Stephanie are Malad
Ruby Bucket Retreat is almost here. We wanted to take a moment and give an overview of our conference for those who are new to Ruby Bucket. This is our third retreat. Our vision from the start has been about having a beautiful experience. We dreamed of a place where busy women could escape for a few days and feel rejuvenated. We wanted a fun unique setting to relax and spend time doing your favorite crafts. We wanted a place to visit, laugh and create new memories with dear friends. From this dream, we created Ruby Bucket—where you could come, worn out and frazzled, and leave happy and calm. Ruby Bucket Retreat– A beautiful oasis to rest while filling your
Here we are just 13 days from our second Ruby Bucket Retreat! Stephanie and I have spent a lot of time coming up with a theme. The theme is really important to us because it sets the tone for the whole conference. We decided that our theme will be FLY. It ties in with our last theme—Live your dream. FLY…it’s an amazing word. What picture comes into your mind? An eagle soaring through the air? Or a butterfly softly flying, flitting through the air? Do you picture a powerful strong jet roaring through the air….or a hot air balloon slowly climbing over the land? It is a simple word that holds so much expectation. FLY…… soar, climb, rise above, it
