There is something magical about a charm bracelet. Every charm has a meaning that can evoke special memories. Each new guest at a Ruby Bucket Retreat receives a  bracelet with a ruby and bucket charm. Then we add a new charm each retreat to correspond with our theme. The countdown to Fall Retreat has begun and we couldn’t be more excited!  Friday night is our “Stand Tall” shoe extravaganza and we want you to bring your favorite pair of shoes. I have vivid memories as a little girl walking with my dad and older brothers on our farm. It was a continual struggle as a tiny girl to keep up with my dad’s giant steps. I remember trying to take huge steps to keep up, but as you all can guess, I could barely keep up with his pace. I discovered after a while that the easiest way for me to keep up and not be left behind was to walk faster than I normally would. I learned that if I took three or four steps to his one, that I could keep up. It made me feel big and tall that I could follow in his footsteps. It made

The gifts are wrapped, the goodie bags are assembled, and we are adding all the final touches. Friday is right around the corner and that means retreat is almost here! When you arrive at Hampton Inn at the Mall, you will see the carport (which leads to the main hotel entrance) on the right. To the left (by the giant star) is the retreat entrance. You can park close to unload there. We start at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23rd. It’s going to be so much fun! Remember to bring your hat for our Friday night fashion show.
