Fall Retreat was so much fun! We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. We loved seeing your creativity, your kindness toward each other, and your enthusiasm for all things crafty! Here are a few highlights. Our theme was “Born for This” and Esther hit it out of the park with the beautiful decorations. We felt the crowns and stars were the perfect complement to the theme. And we always have to throw in a little “Ruby Bucket-ness” as well. This year our fundraiser was for a sweet family that recently lost their vibrant daughter in a tragic car accident. Thank you so much for helping us spread love and kindness. Welcome gifts in the Ruby trunk!

She has added beading, stamping, and chalking to her repertoire. She loves to create something wonderful from raw materials. Jeanine has sold her craft creations in booths, taught classes in painting, taught greeting card creation as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for over 15 years, and has gifted crafts here and abroad. Her favorite snacks are licorice and
I was given the name Esther Janet Jensen when I was born. I was named after two amazing, strong women. My first name, Esther, came from Queen Esther in the Bible. I remember a few years ago when my friend Heather said, “You must be such a great person to be named after Esther in the Bible. That is such a huge name to live up to. If I was named after Esther, I would feel like I could never do anything wrong or make a mistake.” My eyes got really big and I remember thinking, “Well great, thank you very much!! Now I feel like I will never measure up or be good enough no matter what I do!”
This year at Spring Retreat, we decided to change things up a little bit for our charity event. We are thrilled to support the Cards for Kindness® initiative at Scrapbook.com! Since our theme at retreat is “She Designed a Life She Loved,” we thought this went perfectly with the mission of Cards for Kindness® which is “a handmade card for anyone who needs it.” Cards for Kindness® is a global initiative that centers around uplifting others and spreading happiness to anyone who could use an emotional boost, cheer, or a reminder of how loved they are. Volunteer card makers from around the world send in handmade cards. Then, Cards for Kindess® distributes those cards to organizations that support people in
